On Friday (12/28/12), readers are encouraged to meet and greet a local author who understands the importance of bringing spiritual understanding into daily life. Sheila Applegate, a clinical therapist and motivational speaker, will join theater Artistic Director Angela Daddabbo in talking about Applegate’s latest book, “Enchanted One: The Portal to Love.” “I’ve known Sheila for some time and she really just has a wonderful spirit,” Daddabbo said. “We knew we wanted to do something and after looking over the calendar, we thought why not do something just before the new year — it’s perfect timing.” Applegate will give a book talk, followed by a cocktail reception and book signing.
