A few weeks ago I was a guest on Awakening Your Soul With Diahanna. During the interview I recalled a paper I wrote in High-school English. The assignment was to write a story about something “Ten Feet High”. I remember waking up in the middle of the night with the entire paper flowing from my heart. The story recounted the crucifixion of Jesus through Magdalene’s eyes. I wondered if perhaps this was the first time I channeled Magdalene…so many years before she came to comfort and walk with me through my own grief and awakening….So many years before I knew that I was a messenger of Spirit.
An amazing thing happened after remembering this paper. Less than a week later, my mother handed me an envelope which contained the very paper I was referring to. It seems I had given my childhood Pastor a copy of this paper for his Silver Wedding Anniversary. He just came across it and thought that I might like to see it. Neither my Pastor nor my mother had heard the radio show in which I had just recalled this story. As I opened the envelope I felt the timelessness of my love for my Sister, Magdalene and her Beloved.
Now I can share with you, my very first Channeled Message from Magdalene… “Ten Feet” no longer feels out of reach… and I am grateful that beyond the grief is endless love.
“I Saw The Tree” By Sheila Gessler (Applegate)
It stood in solitude on a hill, all alone surrounded by a crowd of screaming people. The dead tree of salvation standing “Ten Feet High”. The grass was green and the flowers grew around us. It was the break of spring and death floated in the air we breathed.
My ears were pierced by the echoing shrill of a nail breaking through the brittle human bone. The crowd shouted with evil joy as they saw the pain on the face of their oldest brother. Then I watched as two men dressed to kill raised the man I love to his death. Ten feet must be the height of death. It was that day.
I watched as my brother struggled with the pain of life and the fear of death. I looked around to see the weeping crowd. Even the eyes of his persecutors filled with tears as the sky darkened from its loss. His mother’s agony was greater then even that of mine. On her knees, she clenched the grass tightly in her fists to release her anger and gain security. Behind the silent tears, those untouched by his love cursed this sacred death. Then, through my tears, I saw a blurry image of his head as it dropped to his chest. He was dead.
I fell to the ground. My leader was upon that ten foot cross. I saw his smile, his strengths, his love. I remembered his miracles and his works.
Then I opened my eyes to reality. I looked into the darkened sky and saw the weakened body hanging limply across that tree. In desperation, I screamed out to him, but I knew he wouldn’t answer.
Then, as if they could hurt a dead man, the soldiers pierced his side with a spear. They laughed with enjoyment as they saw this man’s innocent blood flow to the dirt below.
A chill ran through me as I realized the true glory of this man upon the cross. It was a weak and tired body hanging by a nail, yet even now, at death, he was above us all; Ten feet high and out of man’s reach.
