Today, as we gather with our family and friends to celebrate and give thanks, lets take a moment to read the Iroquois Thanksgiving Address which is recited before every ceremony and every meeting held within the confederacy. THE IROQUOIS THANKSGIVING ADDRESS “Ohenton Kariwahtekwen” Today we have gathered and we see that the cycles of life continue. We are grateful that we can still find pure water. So, we turn now to the Fish and send our greetings and thanks....
